So the weather man says. I am not sure how it could get much worse. We have had rain and wind since yesterday morning. The streets are flooded. And it is still coming down. In case you didn't know...we are in the midst of a Nor'easter. The news channels are going crazy! This is the moment the weatherman hopes and dreams of. And supposedly, the worst wind and rain is yet to come. I am too scared to look at the forecast and radar to see if they are right. The lightening and thunder has begun now and the rain is pouring down. Maybe "they" are right. And wouldn't you know it...Joe is out of town! We should have gotten that boat he wanted...We might need it!
Here is what our street looked like a few hours ago. Good thing our house has a decent crawl space. That water might get close to our front door. It is nice to be living back on waterfront property, without the price!

Does that remind you of hurricanes and bad rains that we had while living in Houston? Stay in the house and dry. Maybe this is a good time to potty train that darling 2yr old that lives in your house???
Oh my gosh! Those are some huge puddles. Your mom is right.. stay in and stay dry. I hope you have a rowboat..just in case!
What rotten weather. I think it's coming our way, but will be weaker. I will try to send sunshine in it's place. :-)
Oh no! Hope the worst has passed by now. Sorry to tell you that it's been absolutely un-Houston like here this week - gorgeous weather. :-) Maybe you should come visit!
