We are up in DC this week for Joe to do some stuff at headquarters and to close on the new house! Our hotel is in a prime location for Joe-right across the street from the Dunn Loring Metro stop. And a prime locarion for Jackson-right next to a huge construction site. We have seen lots of action at the construction site the last few days- construction of a HUGE crane, an excavator loading tons of dirt into a non stop stream of dump trucks, and front loaders galore. Jackson watched out the window for 30 minutes this afternoon giving his running commentary of what was happening down below. Now if only there was a Target or a mall across the street-it would be a prime location for me!

So funny. You could not have asked for a better room for Jackson if you tried! I hope it was quiet enough for you to get some sleep though. Congrats on the closing!
