I heart Kashi.

This morning I decided to blog about something other than my child who has produced enough snot in the last 24 hours to fill a lake the size of our state. Okay, that might be a slight exaggeration, but he seriously has produced a ton of snot. And tears (from watery eyes, not crying, thank goodness!). And drool. Who knows if it is teething (two are just breaking through), allergies, a cold, just being ornery. No that isn't true. He has been his normal happy smiley self mostly. Except when I am trying to suck out his nose. During which he produces noises that I never knew were possible. I can now add the "I am so mad and not going to take this" cry to the list. As Joe said, his nose is probably sore. What from me wiping it them million times in one day?

Oh right, I wasn't going to talk about him this morning.

So the only other thing I can think of to talk about is Kashi. Not sure why it is on my mind right now. As I type this I am enjoying a container of Dannon Lit & Fit White Chocolate Raspberry yogurt with Kashi Cinnamon Harvest crushed up in it. Yummy! It is cool and creamy and has just the right amount of crunch. I am weird and like it really cold so I put it in the freezer for a little bit after I mix it all up. No comments on the weirdness of that. I don't think I have met a Kashi product I don't love. From TLC crackers ( I live on them) to Go Lean Cereal to the many fabulous tasty granola bars. They are coming out with more flavors and food types everyday. If you aren't a fan yet, get to the store and try something! Check out their website at www.kashi.com and see what they have to offer. Alot of times they have free samples that you can sign up to receive. Right now they are giving away free granola. And no I am not a paid employee of Kashi. Although I wouldn't mind being on a taste panel or something. hmmm...maybe I will see if that is available!

Here is another great website to check out. www.eyeslipsface.com/shop.asp

My friend Kim emailed me this.

The make-up line E.L.F. (Eyes, Lips, and Face) has been bought out by Nordstrom and will be re-packaged with the Nordstrom name on it. They are getting rid of all the make-up in ELF packaging. They are selling everything (including mineral makeup but a for a little more)for $1. YES ONE DOLLAR. You do have to pay shipping, but if you use the coupon code: CAROLINA you will get $7.50 off your first $15 of your purchase.

Of course I had to see if it was true! And it is. I ordered a bunch of things. All for $1!! And I used the coupon code CAROLINA, even though I didn't spend $15. I got $6 of my $12 purchase. And shipping was $6.95. So not bad for all that. I haven't used their line of makeup before. But it looked great. I am sure it is fine for what I need it for. Not like I am going to any extravagant balls or events these days.

I guess that is all that is on my mind this morning. I will keep looking for good deals and freebies too and let you all know about them. Then you won't get bored with just hearing about Jackson and snot and poop all the time.

Well you sold me! I just ordered from ELF too. You should get some click-thru royalty or something.

I heart Kashi too, but not as much as you. I buy it sporadically at best. I suppose when I'm in the mood for healthy which should be more often!

Thanks for the shopping tips!

Well, looks like we've been had. I hope the makeup turns out okay because apparently the Nordstrom part is a hoax. From my research that I've done (after I ordered and sent out an email to friends, oops) is that they've been around for quite a while and they've always sold for $1 because the $1 items are trial-sized. It'll be great if the makeup is good though!

Darn it! I knew I should have researched that before buying it. Just goes to show you-there are no good deals! Oh well. T least I get some fun new stuff, even if it is small!
