Winter Wonderland!

Brrrr!! Well, we made it here safe and sound. Jackson was a great little traveler. Despite not napping well in the car and being up at 5 in the morning...he tolerated three mall stops and many long stretches of driving. The mall stops were for him. Seriously. They were. I am not kidding. I might have been forced to enter Gymboree at one of the malls. But one store out of hundreds is not bad, huh?

Anyway, where was I? Yes, we made it safe and sound. Jackson is really enjoying playing with his cousin, Tanner and meeting all his Aunties and Uncles again. Last time he saw most of them he was just a little peanut. We woke up Sunday morning to snow falling. It was beautiful. It lasted most of the day. So of course we had to take the boys out sledding. By boys I mean Tanner and Jackson. Not Danny and Joe. Tanner wasn't too sure about it, but Jackson had a great time swooshing down the hills in Tanner's sled. We took a walk up the road to see the resident cows too. The kiddos were just mesmerized by the cute cows.

Today we decided to take Jackson to get his picture taken with Santa. He knew who Santa was since he had seen him about a thousand times in the last few days. He was very excited to see "Sa-Seesh" and marched right up to him waving all the way. I was shocked. I thought it was going to take some coaxing. But he sat on Santa's lap and started clapping while we were trying to get him to smile. So cute! I think it helped that there wasn't a line at all.

We are planning to head up to Maine tomorrow to do some more shopping see Nana and Bubba. Hopefully they are feeling much better and are ready for the little busy body!
More updates to come. Here are some snow and sledding pictures!

Let's get out of here Tanner!

Let us out of Baby Jail!

One of many attempts at a Christmas card shot!
Someone couldn't stop looking at the snow!

First run down the hill!

That was fun!

Uh-Oh! My sled flipped over on our way to the next hill.

Poor Tanner wasn't too sure about the sled.
Or maybe sitting on Jackson wasn't very comfortable!

Do you see a cow?

Mommy and Me!

Starting at the top of the driveway!
Here we go...

Weeeeeeeee!!!!

Wow! That was fun Daddy!

Every good snowfall calls for a snowball fight.
Jackson's first snowball fight.

I'm really jealous! I would love to be bundled up in some snow right now. Not that I'd want to live there, but a little snow every now and then would be nice. Hope you have a great trip!

Adorable pictures of you guys in the snow! Just how do yo convince your husband to stop during a road trip to go shopping? What exactly do you brib him with?

Those pics are great! Looks like a good time was had by all, except poor Tanner.. ha ha. I "stole" another picture for my desktop! Shhh. Dont tell! Have a good time w/Nana and Bub.. Tell them NO LATE NIGHTS! Grandparents should be in bed @ the same time as Jackson! Not living the lives of teenagers! Good Grief!
