Jackson and I have some of our best "conversations" on our way home from the gym each day. Some days we talk about who he played with that morning. Other days we sing songs (his favorites are Wheels on the Bus and The Itsy Bitsy Spider). Some days he just wants to point out all the things he sees out his window. Today as we drove past the elementary school he chatted about the stairs going up to the school doors. Then I started talking to him about school and how someday he will go to school. "That is where big boys go to school". He proceeded to reply to my remark, "Pee-Pee? Pay-pay (his word for potty)" Apparently we have been talking too much about how big boys go pee-pee on the potty! I just hope he figures out that school is for more than pottying before too long!

Uh-oh! The time is fast approaching for potty training. And, what a difference a year makes - it is hard to believe he was that young.
Uncle Chris said "I hope he doesn't go up the school steps on the 1st day of school and go peepee on them!" ha ha!
Boy he sure has changed since that first day... Except for he's still a cutie pie!
