Gettin' back to life as we know it!

Whew. That is all I can say. What a whirlwind past few weeks we have had. Mere-Mere was with us visiting for over two weeks. She made several house hunting trips to Chesapeake and Williamsburg while she was here. And Joe and I made multiple trips to Chesapeake for my eye surgery and follow ups and many other things! A few days before we were due to leave to drive up north to the Cape, we decided it would be better to fly. It just didn't make sense (or sound too fun) to take two days to drive there, spend two days there, then turn around and drive two days home. You know who would never want to step foot in the car again after that. So we were able to get some cheap tickets and ended up staying a week in Massachusettes. We got a chance to go to Maine to see Nana and Buba. It was so nice to just hang out with all of Joe's family. Jackson had a blast playing with his cousin Tanner. It was so fun to watch them running around and dancing together. Total demonstration of "Monkey see, Monkey do"!! Unfortunately, in all the madness to catch our flight, we forgot our camera. Thank goodness Ali and Mere-Mere took plenty of pictures though. I will post some when I get them.

After getting back home last night we had to move alot of our furniture to prepare for the carpet cleaners. Nothing like jumping right into life at home again! We are pretty tired from a long week, but so glad and thankful that we were able to spend some time with Joe's family.

Here are a few pictures I took with my phone. More to come...

Weeee!! Having fun on Tanner's swing!

Driving Uncle Dan's lawnmower. Such a boy!

More swinging. We went to an awesome park and the boys had a great time!

Being silly!
