One of us (Bet you can guess who!) was up bright eyed and busy tailed at 3am on our second day!! WAY too early to be up, but it was 6am by his body clock. He must not have gotten the memo that there was a 3 hour time difference. Oh well... Today we headed to the world famous San Diego Zoo! It was awesome! There were so many animals. The weather was a little overcast and cooler in the morning, so we were able to see alot of animals that are normally sleeping (from the heat) wide awake and playing. My Mom, Dad, and I got to feed the giraffes. That was the highlight of my day. Jackson chose to go to the reptile house with Joe instead. It was so fun to get slimed by their really long tongues. After exploring the zoo and riding the train at Balboa Park, we headed back to the hotel for an afternoon swim. Can't keep that boy out of the water now!

What great animal pictures. Looks like the zoo was a great time. I haven't been to a zoo in ages... now it makes me want to go. Jackson looks like he really enjoyed it... as did Grammy, Grampy & you two! What fun!
