We are having a great time on the beach. The weather is still HOT, but thankfully there is a nice breeze most of the time. The smoke has been coming and going. It has been smokey in the mornings and usually clears out around 9ish. Then comes back again in the afternoon for a little bit. It looks like things might cool off a bit in the next few days also. "Cool off" being a relative term if you consider high 80's to be cool. I do when it has been in the upper 90's lately! Jackson's first visit to the beach did not go so well, but he has made it back two more times since then and is getting alot more used to it. He loves the pool and is an expert kicker in his turtle float. Here are a few pics from the last few days. We will post some video when we get home. We forgot the cord to connect the camera to the computer.
Congratulations to our friends Sherry and Troy Cole on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Jacob. He is adorable! Get some rest Troy and Sherry! Wish we were there to see him and hold him.

Looks like Jackson, Alex and Ali are having a great time along with Megan and Jake. Wonder how the parents are enjoying this vacation?
Hope some pictures will be sent to the grandparents after everyone returns to E-city.

Looks like such a great time. Hope you grown ups are enjoying the beach (pool - JEN) and a few "expresso's" and "dikeri's" Say that right now! ha ha. Enjoy the remaining few days of R&R. I'm sitting here listening to the LOUD scream of the cicada's..be happy you're not up here! Crazy! Miss you!
We took Tanner to the beach last weekend, and I don't know how I would have done it if I didn't have my cousin Peggy and crew. All that beach stuff is a lot of work. Anyway it was worth it, becuase the little guy had a good time playing in the water with his DaDa. You guys look great can't wait to see you:) Ali
