A few new styles...

Another weekend has come and gone. Why do they fly by so quickly? Joe has been a busy bee doing some late Spring cleaning. It all started with spraying all around the house for bugs. He was spraying under the deck when he got attacked by about three wasps. Not fun! After he sprayed all the windows he decided to do some major cleaning of the windowsills and screens. The windows are so clean I am afraid a few birds might fly into them! Now I just have to be diligent and keep them clean....hmmmm.

Jack-Jack had his first "splash" lesson yesterday. Joe and I were a bit worried at first because the water was pretty cold. We knew he didn't like the cold ocean when we were at the beach. But after about 10 minutes, and a great toy, he started to really like it. He even started kicking toward the end. He mostly floated on his stomach and stood on the ramp splashing, all the while chewing on that toy! To end the lesson, we put Jackson on the side of the pool and tried to get him to jump in the pool to us. He was very distracted by a hula-hoop, but did manage to jump (i..e. fall) into the pool a few times. So cute!

We have a big week ahead of us, including a surprise visitor! Joe's mom is driving down to stay with us for a few weeks. And Kathleen (his sister) is coming too! That was a surprise to us. We are so excited to have them both here for a little bit. Kathleen will only be able to stay a week, but at least we get to see her. Joe's mom will be celebrating a big birthday with us on Thursday. And Jackson has his 9 month well check that day also. I hope to find a little time to keep up with the blog as much as possible.

Here are some pictures from the week. Hope you all had a good weekend. Happy Monday!
