Phew! It has been HOT, HOT, HOT around here. Last week was pretty miserable. Thankfully this week should be nicer. But since it was so hot last week we decided to hit hte splash pad at Fairfax Corner. Kimberly and her boys and Amy, her mom, and her kiddos joined us too. The kids had just as much fun running around the stage area and playing Tag as they did in the water. Thank goodness they had tables with umbrellas for the moms to hang out under. It was pretty sticky out. But the kiddos didn't mind at all. They played hard and had a great time. We hope to make it back again before the weather cools off.
